We’re pleased to be a part of the 2019 Tour of the California Alps (Deathride®) and are looking forward to seeing you at the Expo the Friday prior, on the course the day of the ride and if you come by the Sunday afterwards we can share war-stories.
Bag (aka clothing) drop info:
We’re really looking forward to handling your schweaty gear!
Alas, no, we won’t wash them before sending them back your way so hopefully our intrepid postal carriers won’t be too offended by any odors that may eminate from your package.
Of course if you pick them up while you’re here then that’s a non-issue, eh?
Okay let’s talk some serious logistics about this bag drop thing…
If you’re doing three (3) passes or more, we suggest that you buy one of our cool Cinch Packs (sackpacks, drawstring bags, whatever you want to call them) to use to climb and descend Monitor Pass. You can then fill it with the gear you need to descend both sides of the pass and then leave it before you climb Ebbett’s Pass. The bags, thanks to Totebag Factory, are of good quality, so they can be re-used for future adventures.
On Saturday, July 13, 2019, any personal belongings can be placed in the bag and then left at the junction of Highway 89/Highway 4. Our crew will on site from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to receive your bag. At 11:00 a.m. we will transport the bags to Turtle Rock Park where they will be available for pick up at the our booth until 6:00 p.m. There will be another pick up window at Turtle Rock Park (again, at the C.A.C. booth) from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., during the event clean up on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
If the bags are not retrieved during the event, you’ll be able contact us to arrange for shipping of your personal belongings. Shipping charges will apply and your items will be shipped via USPS after payment is received.
Bag price $10.00 each (+ tax), but…
C.A.C. has a special offer for 2019 Deathride participants! Become a member ($40 per year) and the bag drop will be free!

Buying them now will save you some time on Friday – you can just give us your name and pick ’em up. If you prefer, though, you can just wait until the 12th and buy and pick up your bag in person. We’ll also have some other cool merch at our booth, including tees, jerseys, bibs and decals.
