A beauty morning on Hwy. 4 heading up towards Ebbett’s Pass

3/4 of an inch in about 20 minutes! That was a doozy of a downpour. Still flashing ⚡️⛈ out there too.

Winter in Spring? Definitely a California Alps and Sierra Thing!

Just heard from a reliable source (CalTrans) that Monitor Pass will be closing Saturday at 4:00 p.m. PT due to the impending storm. Fingers crossed we'll get lots of snow!

The fall colors were rocking. The wind was just a bit of a breeze. The cars had taken a hiatus and it was just a picture perfect day.
